Can't wait to help you 'learn to trust your path, no matter how

Wandering the Wild Mess is a personal growth podcast about starting over. Through honest conversations and real-life experiences, Heather shares mindset shifts, self-discovery, and the courage it takes to build a life that actually fits.

Wandering the Wild Mess is where we get real about starting over.
After my divorce, I found myself completely lost, trying to navigate the unexpected pain that comes with a full life reset. In the middle of that mess, I made the bold decision to pack up and move across the country on my own, to a place I knew no one. Once I arrived, I felt lost, alone, and an undeniable pull to hit record, hoping that by sharing my journey, others might feel a little less alone while navigating their own messy transitions.
What began as a way to process the chaos slowly became something bigger: a space for honest conversations, healing, self-reflection, and the mindset shifts that help us rebuild our lives.
Today, Wandering the Wild Mess is about learning to trust your path, no matter how messy it looks.
If you’re navigating change, rediscovering yourself, or simply looking for an honest voice
that reminds you you're not alone…
This podcast is for you.
Let’s wander the wild mess together.
Stay in the loop with new podcast episodes, mindset shifts, and encouragement for wherever you are on your starting-over journey.

Hi, I'm Heather Morgan.

Hi, I'm Heather Morgan.
A few years ago, I left the only place I'd ever called home and moved from Utah to Nashville to start over. At the time, I thought I was rebuilding my life after divorce. Looking back, I realize I was rebuilding something much deeper: my identity. I don't have life all figured out, and I don't pretend to. But I've learned that some of life's greatest gifts are found on the paths we never planned to walk. When I'm not behind the microphone, you'll usually find me on a hiking trail, walking my dog, sitting around a fire, writing, or having the kind of deep conversations that remind you we're all more alike than we think. This journey has taught me more than anything that life rarely goes according to our own plan... but that doesn't mean it's going wrong.

Wandering the Wild Mess exists for anyone who's ever looked at their life and thought, "This isn't what I expected." Through honest conversations, vulnerable stories, and meaningful guests, my hope is simple: that you leave feeling a little less alone and a little more hopeful than when you arrived.

Through honest conversations, vulnerable stories, and meaningful guests, my hope is simple: that you leave feeling a little less alone and a little more hopeful than when you arrived.
Over the years, I've learned that starting over isn't a single moment; it's something most of us experience again and again.
New seasons, unexpected endings, unanswered questions, and opportunities we never saw coming all shape who we become. This isn't a place that has all the answers. It's a place to remember that you're not the only one figuring it out.
If my story helps you trust your own path a little more, then this podcast is doing exactly what I hoped it would.

A hundred episodes ago, I pressed record without knowing where this journey would lead.
Since then, this podcast has grown alongside me.
As I continue wandering this wild mess we call life, I'll keep sharing the stories, lessons, and conversations that have shaped me, always with honesty, curiosity, and kindness. Over the past few years, my own path has led me to a deeper faith, a greater sense of peace, and a stronger belief that even our hardest seasons can have purpose. You'll hear more of that journey here, too, because it's become an important part of who I am. This is only the beginning. My hope is that Wandering the Wild Mess continues to grow into more than a podcast, a community that reminds people to trust their path, embrace starting over, and believe that life can still become something beautiful, even when it looks nothing like they imagined.
Whether you're here for one episode or one hundred, thank you for being part of the journey. I'm so grateful you're here.
